A tombstone for the rabbi, who was famous for his knowledge in the Torah and in piety, was righteous and modest and didn’t stop from studying the Torah, our teacher and rabbi Rabbi Meir son of R’ Avraham Eber of blessed memory Weinreich. Passed away on Monday 20 Tevet 5662 [30 December 1901]…. May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life. (smages@comcast.net)
