Witness is this mound and witness is this headstone. Here lies a man upright and honest, God-fearing, R’ Aharon Shaul son of R’ Tuvia. Was loved by all who knew him, was the head of our family and our crown glory, his light darkened at the prim of his life, left us to our sorrow and sighs ,the bitter day will be remembered, the son of Tuvia [or - was a good person] and died with a good name. Died on the holy Sabbath 28 Sivan 5661[8 June 1901] May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life. (smages@comcast.net)
