"Here lies a perfect and upright man, God-fearing in truth. He walked perfectly in his goings/travels. Indeed he offered and gave in surety, honorable and pleasant to all who led his sons in the path of the Lord, the holy path, he honored Torah and study of the Lord, our teacher the rabbi Rabbi Hoshua son of Reb Nahman Avraham Sakalski. He died on Sunday 28th Kislev 5663 as the abbreviated era. May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life." Translated by Heidi M.
