Here lies an old man full of days, followed the righteous ways,
enjoyed the labor of his hands all his days, went to the synagogue
in the morning and in the evening and prayed in public word
for word, our teacher and rabbi Shalom son of Yehoshua May
he rest in peace, died 9 Shevat 5694 [25 January 1934]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
