The crown of good name.
Died 15 Tevet 5671 [5 January 1911]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
Our teacher and rabbi Yosef [Joseph] Zev son of the pious
our teacher and rabbi Avraham [Abraham] Shemuel.
God-fearing, studied the Torah days and nights, his trusted hands
circumcised many boys, endangered his life to travel to far away places,
his good deeds and his kindness will speak for his soul, was rewarded
and rewarded many with his pleasant prayers and ?, respected to the Lord
with his throat and poured his heart ?, did not set time for prayers but
his qualities were like pearls and gold
