The crown of priesthood.
Here lies
Was merciful to the day of his death, feared God and enjoyed
the labor of his hands, was honest in his ways all of his days,
from a good stock from wholesome people, our teacher and rabbi
Chaim son of Yektuel HaCohen died 24 Nisan 5690 [2 April 1930]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
