An acrostic poem spelling the name of the diseased Elimelch
Here lies an old man who walked in the way of integrity, his soul rose to the
heavens, acted with righteousness all the days of his life, from a good stock
and wholesome people, his name will not be forgotten for many
generations, lived in wisdom all his days, our teacher
the rabbi Elimelch son of our teacher the rabbi Moshe [Moses]
died ? Tevet 5678 [December 1917/January 1918]…….
