Here lies – here resides a man decent and upright,
his happiness turned into sadness, now he is lodging under the
shadow of the Lord, acted with honesty all of his days,
sought justice, benefited the needy and was a good benefactor,
found grace and ?, from a good stock and wholesome
people, our teacher Shelomo Yeruham son of the late
Yosef [Joseph] Tzvi [Zwi,Cwi] May he rest in peace died
nine days to the month of Tevet in the year 5690 [9 January 1930]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
