The sound of weeping and wailing is being heard from all directions,
the sun darkened at noon, Woe! Alas! to all who knew the young
man, an honest man who walked in the way of integrity….acted with
trust and was engaged in good deeds, was charitable at all times,
respected and righteous, Mr. Asher Anshil son of our teacher
the rabbi Haim [Chaim] May his light shine died 8 Adar 5667
[22 February 1907] May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
