Here lies
A tombstone for an old man advanced in years who did not stray from the
righteous way, feared God gave from his bread to the poor
and to the needy, our teacher the rabbi R’ Zev son of our teacher the rabbi Yakov [Jacob]
died 23 Shevat 5672 [11 February 1912] May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
