Here lies
an honest simple man went to his eternal resting place,
was kind and charitable and sought righteousness all of his life,
was carved from a priesthood ancestry, our teacher the rabbi Zev son of
the late Yehudah HaCohen May he rest in peace died 20 of the
month of Shevat 5691 [7 February 1931]
by the abbreviated era May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
