Two deer adorn the tombstone of: "Ari Zwi. [acrostic poem using name Ari son of Mordechai] It is he the precious scholar, the honorable merchant, our teacher R. Zwi son of R. Mordechai of blessed memory Konica from the settlers of Slonim. He died on the eve of the Holy Sabbath 17 Adar year 5671 as the abbreviated era.
