from the labor of his hands, passed away our teacher and rabbi Mordechai
Elkana son of our teacher and rabbi Simcha of blessed memory. May his

MIDDLE: Died 4 Heshvan 5699 [29 October 1938]. Here lies. Mourn an honest, simple,
righteous woman, modest and pleasant in her deeds. Was a midwife all of her
life and has done her work like a merciful mother. Brought thousands of souls
to the treasure of life. The best is waiting for her in the heavens. She is
the woman Sara Pesha who is called Alta, daughter of the late Mr. Yosef
Elkana. May her soul be bound in the bond of life.

Here lies a woman modest and decent, valued in her deeds, pure and simple, a woman of valor died, Ms. Rivka daughter of Yosef Enshil of blessed memory.
