Died 25 to the month of Sivan 5696 [15 June 1936]. Here lies an old man, upright and honest, followed the righteous ways and earned his living from the labor of his hands, our teacher and rabbi Mordechai Elkana son of our teacher and rabbi Simcha passed away, May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
Died 4 Heshvan 5699 [29 October 1938]. Here lies. Mourn an honest righteous woman, upright and modest in her ways, was a midwife all of her life and has done her work like a merciful mother. Brought thousands of souls to the treasure of life, the best is waiting for her in the heavens. She is the woman Sara Pesha who is called Alta daughter of the late Mr. Yosef Elkana. May her soul be bound in the bond of life.
